• INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNIT: Compact IMU monitors inertia along 5 degrees of freedom. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes, plus roll rate and pitch rate are measured. The yaw rate is calculated using Kawasaki’s proprietary dynamic modeling software. Inputs from the IMU give the ECU software an even clearer real-time picture of chassis orientation.
• KAWASAKI CORNERING MANAGEMENT FUNCTION: From the entry, through the apex, to the corner exit, KCMF modulates brake force (KIBS) and engine power (KTRC) to facilitate smooth transitions from acceleration to braking, to assist you in tracing your intended line through the corner.
• KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL: Kawasaki Traction Control covers a wide range of riding conditions, offering enhanced sport riding performance and peace of mind while you’re on the road. When turned on, you can select between three modes to choose the degree in which each mode intervenes during riding.
